Art of Stars Posters
Our students took part in The Art of STARS Competition with the aim to create a poster which promotes getting moving on the way to school. Well done and thank you to all our students who entered. Mrs Beveridge judged the final posters and the top three designs were by Romilly Oliver, Hallie-Mae McGow and Layla Tait (which can each be viewed below). The girls designs have now been entered into the national competition and if successful will be printed on the National Art of STARS wall planner which will be available for schools throughout England.
The girls posters will also be used in school to promote our participation in the national scheme The Big Pedal, which our school will be taking part in from April 23rd to May 4th. In these 2 weeks we will be encouraging students to get moving by biking and/or scooting to school, helping to improve road congestion, the environment and their health. So watch out for more information on this event after the Easter holidays!
